Anders Sparring is a well-established writer of TV series for children and the author of several successful children’s novels. Most recently, Sparring has moved in the direction of developing and writing for big drama productions. He strives for both originality and authenticity, choosing to focus his narratives on people that are often pushed into the background. Sparring is equally passionate about writing comedy; he is himself a celebrated stand-up comedian.
Throughout his career, Sparring has written for many popular TV shows and has gained extensive experience in writing for animated series and for dolls. His works include Allram Eest, The Three Friends… and Jerry, Superhero Christmas, Laban the Little Ghost, Roofters, My brother, King of the Summer Camp, and Farang. In 2017, he received a Guldbagge nomination for his screenplay The World of Dolores and Gunellen.
Sparring has published six books to date, one of which is the popular series about the Knyckertz family. SVT’s Christmas calendar 2021, An Honest Christmas with the Knyckertz, is based on the books about the Knyckertz family and Sparring is also writer of the script for the series. December 2023 saw the premiere of his feature film Knyckertz & snutjakten, which has received great reviews.
Sparring is episode writer of the second season of the hit TV series The Hunters (2021), and writer of the coming film adaptation of the praised Malin Fors series, based on the books by Mons Kallentoft. Furthermore, Sparring is one of the writers of the comedy series Familjen Andersson which premiered on SVT in 2023.

Knyckertz & snutjakten is based on the books about the Knyckertz family written by Anders Sparring, and is a continuation of the beloved SVT Christmas Calendar An Honest Christmas With the Knyckertz (2021). Sparring is also writer of the screenplay, with Leif Lindblom directing.
David Sundin stars as the father Bove Knyckertz, and Nina Zanjani plays the mother Fia Knyckertz. Their two children Ture and Kriminellen are played by Axel Adelöw and Paloma Grandin.
Knyckertz & snutjakten has received great reviews and premieres today Friday December 1 in Swedish theatres.

Nordic Entertainment (NENT) Group is adapting Martin Österdahl’s Max Anger novels as an original series for its Viaplay streaming service.
Adam Lundgren and Evin Ahmad co-star in the Swedish action thriller produced by Nice Drama in co-production with UK-based Twelve Town.

The eight-part series will premiere exclusively across the Nordic region on Viaplay in late 2021.
