Nelly Rapp i Bergakungens sal Nelly Rapp in the Hall of the Mountain King
Nelly Rapp, illustrated by Emil Maxén #
Nelly and her dog London are on a visit to the Troll Forest. In there they come across an engineer who says that the whole forest is going to be chopped down to make room for new buildings, just as long as the ground is stable enough. Suddenly London disappears without a trace underneath a thick fir tree and Nelly has to crawl in after him. She finds herself face-to-face with none other than the Mountain King, an ancient man who rules over the Troll Forest, but has no idea how to save it. Luckily, Nelly figures out that the giant must be awoken. When he starts moving after 900 years, the ground is literally shaking…
A scary, funny, easy-to-read story about who really rules the forest. Nelly Rapp in the Hall of the Mountain King is the ninth stand-alone installment in Martin Widmark’s cozy-spooky series about monster agent Nelly Rapp, now with new illustrations rich in color and full of humor by Emil Maxén.
