‘1793’ shortlisted for the Book of the Year Award

Niklas Natt och Dag’s brilliant debut 1793 has been shortlisted for Bonnier’s Book Clubs’ Book of the Year Award. Bonnier’s Book Clubs is the home of five Swedish book clubs, among them the biggest one in Sweden. The winning book and author will be announced during the Gothenburg Book Fair.

‘Macbeth’ and ‘1793’ No. 1 in Sweden

The official Swedish bestseller lists for the second week of April have been released. Jo Nesbø’s Macbeth continues to dominate at the top, coming in at No. 1 on the hardcover fiction list as well as the e-book list. Meanwhile, Niklas Natt och Dag’s 1793 also stays put at No. 1 on the paperback list, and joins Macbeth on the e-book list, coming in at No. 5.

‘The Man Who Died’ shortlisted for the Last Laugh Award

Antti Tuomainen’s dark, thrilling and humorous The Man Who Died has been shortlisted for the Last Laugh Award. The award is given to the best humorous crime novel published in the the UK in 2017. The international crime fiction convention CrimeFest will present this award, along with other awards, at a dinner on May 19th.
