‘William Wenton and the Luridium Thief’ Parents’ Choice Award Recommended Title in the US

Bobbie Peers’ William Wenton and the Luridium Thief has been chosen as a 2017 Parents’ Choice Award recommended title in the US.

The Parents’ Choice Awards is the oldest nonprofit program in the US, created to recognize quality children’s media such as books, toys, music, and more. The foundation’s panel, which consists of educators, scientists, artists, librarians, parents and – of course – children, decide the works that will be recognized for their excellence. These recommendations then serve as an independent and trusted source for parents and caregivers looking for books and toys.

William Wenton and the Luridium Thief was chosen as a recommended title with the following motivation:

“With elements of Harry Potter, DaVinci Code and X-Men Mutant Academy blurring together, there’s a puzzle, a chase, a bit of science and characters fighting evil. /…/ readers will clamor for more pages about William and where his bionic adventures will take him next, because this is clearly just the beginning.”
-Ann Oldenburg, Parents’ Choice Award
