New international TV series “Greyzone” starts filming
Greyzone a new international TV series, starts filming in Denmark, Sweden and Germany. The TV series of 10 episodes is created and written by Oskar Söderlund and Morten Dragsted. Mikkel Bak Sørensen has also been involved as writer.
Greyzone is to premiere on C More spring 2018 and is a co-production with TV2 Denmark and Cosmo Film.
The story revolves around a terrorist attack threatening Scandinavia. Tova Magnusson and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen are to play the lead roles.
‘Top Dog’ No. 1 in Sweden
Jens Lapidus’ Top Dog has shot to No. 1 on the weekly official bestseller lists for hardcover fiction, eBooks and audiobooks in Sweden. Top Dog is the third novel featuring Teddy and Emelie.
‘The Thirst’ No. 1 in the Czech Republic
Jo Nesbø’s The Thirst has gone straight to No. 1 on the official bestseller list for hardcover fiction in the Czech Republic upon publication.
‘The Sons’ and ‘Three Minutes’ in the Dutch Detective & Thriller Guide
Roslund & Thunberg’s The Sons and Roslund & Hellström’s Three Minutes have each received five stars in the Dutch Detective & Thriller Guide. Out of the 618 crime and thriller novels published in the Netherlands during the past year, only six novels received five stars.
The guide motivates its choice of the novels with the following statement about The Sons: “The dialogue and the characters are impeccable, the relationships are edgy, and the atmosphere is almost tangible.”

‘A Man Called Ove’ on the New York Times Best Seller List
Fredrik Backman’s A Man Called Ove has now been on the New York Times Best Seller List for combined print and eBook for a full year, coming in at No. 11 this week. On the bestseller list for paperback fiction A Man Called Ove claims the No. 5 spot in its 74th week on the list.

Sofia Lundberg (b. 1974), a journalist and former magazine editor, is the debut author behind the Swedish word-of-mouth and blog sensation The Red Address Book. Sofia lives in Stockholm with her son.

Francesco Carrozzini to direct Jo Nesbø’s ‘Midnight Sun’
Italian producer Cattleya (the production company behind Gomorra and Romanzo Criminale) has set Emmy-nominated filmmaker Francesco Carrozzini to direct Jo Nesbø’s bestselling stand-alone novel Midnight Sun. Cattleya intends to turn it into an English language film. Jo Nesbø and Niclas Salomonsson are Executive Producers on the project.
Carrozzini: “When I read Midnight Sun I was drawn to the complexity of the main character, Ulf – he’s inherently a good man forced to do bad things in order to save his own life and his loved ones. The exploration of this tension, plus the remote, otherworldly backdrop of the Norwegian coast made me want to bring this book to screen right away.”

All star cast assembled for ‘Three Seconds’
It is now official that Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, Jack Reacher), Clive Owen (Closer, Children of Men, Sin City), Joel Kinnaman (The Killing, Suicide Squad) and Common (Selma, Suicide Squad) are all set to star in Three Seconds – the movie adaptation based on Roslund & Hellström’s best-selling novel with the same name. Andrea DiStefano (Escobar: Paradise Lost) will direct.
