Kim Cattrall to play the U.S. President in ‘Modus’ Season 2

Kim Cattrall will join the cast for the second season of Modus, the hit TV series based on Anne Holt’s Inger Johanne Vik series. In the upcoming season, Cattrall will play the U.S. President, arriving in Stockholm for a state visit. The trip soon turns out to have unexpected and devastating consequences.

Modus is produced by Miso Film. The second season is currently in production and will air this fall.
Just like the first season, this season is written by the three time Emmy award winning duo Mai Brostrøm and Peter Thorsboe (Unit One, The Eagle, Protectors, The Team). Directing are acclaimed director Lisa Siwe (The Bridge, Glowing Stars) and Håkan Lindhé.

Kim Cattrall says in today’s announcement: “I am pleased to be joining the Modus production in their second season and am looking forward to spending time in Sweden, a country I have always wanted to visit. As a fan of the great Swedish director, Ingmar Bergman, I look forward to my time here.”

‘The Einstein Mystery’ published in Norway

Fredrik Backman dominates the New York Times Best Seller List

Fredrik Backman is dominating the New York Times Best Seller List for paperback fiction with three novels on the list. A Man Called Ove rises to the No. 1 spot yet again in its 59th week, My Grandmother Asked Me to Tell You She’s Sorry follows at No. 6 in its 43rd week, and for the first time on the list, Britt-Marie Was Here lands the No. 9 spot.

On the combined print and eBook list, A Man Called Ove appears at No. 4, which marks its 38th week on that particular list.
