United
Kaare lives in a small coastal town and dreams of becoming a professional soccer player for Manchester United. Instead, he works at the local shipyard and trains in his spare time with the local boys’ team. His girlfriend Anna is getting tired of his endless dreaming, so when Stian, Kaare’s old schooldays rival, turns up, rich and successful, she starts eyeing him appreciatively. Kaare applies for a place in the Haugesund soccer team, coached by an eccentric Russian, and as the day of the first important match approaches, Kaare has to deal with the fact that Stian seems to have won Anna over.
