Martin Nick Alexandersson’s acting journey is a vibrant tale of passion, courage, and artistic exploration.
Brought up in Stenungsund, north of Gothenburg, Alexandersson’s acting journey began at a young age. He studied acting at Frihems Residential College between 2008 and 2010. And after his studies, he explored various performing arts, including self-produced theater shows and short films.
In 2016, Alexandersson collaborated with the SRSLYyours theater group in Cyprus, co-creating the acclaimed monologue performance Egoland, which was awarded The Grand Prix Award at the Stockholm Fringe Festival in 2020. The same year, after a decade of theater freelancing, Alexandersson ventured into film, landing a significant role as the antagonist in Huss: Hostage (2021).
Accepted into the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg in 2020, Alexandersson participated in productions such as Riding in Darkness (2022), Amina (2023), and Doktrinen (2024). Furthermore, right upon graduation, Alexandersson landed the acclaimed role as Tony Olsson in Pressure Point (2024) directed by Sanna Lenken.

SVT’s Smärtpunkten, depicting the controversy surrounding Lars Norén’s infamous play 7:3, received Kristallen’s prestigious ‘Best Drama Series Award.’

The new drama series Smärtpunkten has now revealed its star-studded cast.
This crime serie takes us back to Sweden twenty-five years ago, to when world-renowned playwright and novelist Lars Norén decides to put up a play in a prison together with high-risk inmates. This triggers a chain of events with fatal outcome.
Martin Nick Alexandersson will star as the inmate Tony Olsson. The cast also includes David Dencik, Maria Sid, Einar-Hugo Strömberg and Linus Gustafsson.
Smärtpunkten will premier on SVT Play April 19th.

Brought up in Stenungsund, north of Gothenburg, Nick’s acting journey began at a young age. He decided to pursue his dreams of acting and began his studies between 2008 and 2010 at Frihems residential college.
After his studie, he explored various performing arts, including self-produced theater shows and short films. Simultaneously, he developed interests in diverse training methods and dance styles, enriching his artistic expression.
