
Joel Kinnaman joins Salomonsson Agency
With his magnetic screen presence, versatile acting abilities, and dedication to his craft, Joel Kinnaman has captivated audiences worldwide and established himself as one of the most talented actors of his generation.
Kinnaman’s acting journey began in the early 2000s when he enrolled at the Malmö Theatre Academy. He made his big screen breakthrough as Frank Wagner in the Johan Falk film series, a role for which he received a Guldbagge nomination in 2010 for ‘Best Supporting Actor.’
In 2011 he was awarded a Guldbagge for ‘Best Actor’ in the record-breaking Swedish film Snabba cash (2010), directed by Daniel Espinosa, which gained great attention abroad, and before long Kinnaman’s talent caught the attention of Hollywood.
In 2011-2014 he starred as detective Stephen Holderon on AMC’s acclaimed crime drama The Killing. The following years he starred in several popular films and series, such as RoboCop (2014), Altered Carbon (2018) and Suicide Squad (2021).
Most recently, Kinnaman starred opposite Nicolas Cage in the psychological thriller, Sympathy for the Devil. He also starred in Apple TV+ epic space drama, For All Mankind. The series, led by Kinnaman, has received great critical acclaim and topped both Rolling Stone and USA Today’s Best Shows of 2021 lists. Season four is due to release in 2023.
