After all, the experts are the ones that lead you in the right direction. They’re helpful when you want to inspect a suspicious birth mark, get your driver’s license, or check the weather forecast for the weekend. During the last few years, a lot of people have turned to scientific authorities for definitive answers: just to discover that scientists sometimes bicker among themselves and can be wrong. So when should you listen to the experts? And what happens when they’re wrong?
The Expert Paradox shows that, even though it’s valuable to listen to experts, trusting scientific authorities blindly can lead to devastating consequences. Here, you get all the right tools you need to benefit from other’s knowledge in the best way possible.
