Lennart Johansson grows up with one dream – to become the lead of a Swedish dance band in the spirit of the legendary group ”Vikingarna”. Though a swede at heart, Lennart is met with prejudice from all the bands he seeks to be a part of and all for one reason – he is black. Smiling Golden Brown Eyes is the title of one of the most famous dance band tunes of all time, as well as the title of this heartfelt and entertaining mini series.
