Tina Mackic (b. 1986) is an author, TV producer, screenwriter, and director who previously worked as a reporter and producer on Sveriges Radio. The Summer Shadow has helped shape a whole generation of kids with its tricks since its first appearance on Swedish kids TV in 2016. With the Summer Shadow, Mackic has created a space for children to recognize and face their fears through the beloved character. Mackic had her literary debut in 2019, with the slightly scary and beloved character, and the Summer Shadow has since performed its shenanigans both on and off screen.

The new film about JerryMaya’s Detective Agency is directed by Tina Mackic, who also directed the previous film JerryMaya’s Detective Agency – The Riddle of the Scorpion (2022). The sequel, The JerryMaya Detective Agency – The Mascot Who Disappeared, is both a scary and funny Halloween film for the whole family. Among the cast we find Maria Mustafa, Elma Säterhagen-Lekander and Maria Nohra. The script is written by Michaela Hamilton and David Wiberg.

SF Studios has announced that a new feature film about The JerryMaya Detective Agency will premiere in movie theaters this fall. The movie is based on Martin Widmark and Helena Willis’ exceptionally popular book series of the same name, now featuring a new, adventurous mystery.
